@yongitech that looks interesting and welcome here!
Is that a product ready for sale or you still in development?
Hm can’t find that one on thier taobao page
yes, it is on sale!
where?
Oh boy
Can you please add a link to the website or shop you sell them?
OK. We’ll provide it later .
OK.
Already spotting solder balls
Where? It looks pretty nice to me
1st pic near the electrolytic caps that also don’t seem to have been completely soldered through.
4th pic near the bottom row of ceramic caps left of the shunts.
Moreover, no USB-C, non standard connectors, caps aren’t secured with silicone and the case has one hole for 5 status led’s.
agreed
Still not seeing the solder balls tbh.
No one has seemed to be able to do this except unity so far. Idk why? Connector size? The 2 cents more per connector? Who knows
yes weird
You use the status lights?
If you want a shit USB-c connector maybe. The big brand ones are still quite pricy.
no.1 reason prob is cause the real implementation is pretty complicated. you can cheat and leave all but d+/d- gnd and vbus empty tho.
Please show me a “standard” connector
Looks like they use a light pipe, so I’d have to say this is going to be the most visable status LEDs so far.
No link to where it’s available yet?
Maybe he means that the data connectors aren’t the normal vesc JST ones
JST-PH 2.0
Fair enough
hall is usually on the end hguh
It’s better placement than the MakerX ones tho, at least on this it’s almost as close to the motor as possible. It would be even better if the comm and hall were switched tho
