If makerX doesnā€™t even use Usb-c because of space constraints, do you really think theyā€™ll redesign the unit to incorporate a Bluetooth module into the pcb?

Built in modules also bring a disadvantage: you canā€™t use them anywhere else.

You buy a new vesc and guess what, you need to buy another Bluetooth module. If only you had a separate module you could use on different devicesā€¦

I do too, thatā€™s why i and many others already have Bluetooth modules. So why make everyone pay the extra to include something that a large percentage already has.

This obviously does not apply to everyone and is solely my opinion.

Iā€™m well aware of the uses of a seperate module I have a few of them laying around here, thanks for pointing out the obvious. I also enjoy having them built in for my own convenience of less mess.

Itā€™s not an argument just a request to maker.
Maybe if USB C is something you want you could request it also?

Yes they do. The original dv4 had a wider pattern since it was so much bigger
