Lol you got addicted quickly.
Got a bunch of parts coming.
I’ve been running this thing non stop the past 30 hours.
4 hours in into my biggest print yet (30%)
Second attempt, failed at 15% last time.
Looking great so far. Loving this thing.
Show us what all you made.
So far just parts for the ender itself.
(And a dog and lion for my daughter)
No idea where those went lol
Covers for fans
A little cosmetic aperture science cover for control knob
And a handle for the bed
A knob for the extruder and a guide for the filament
I’ve got another filament guide for the top half but forgot to print the adapter so I can snap it into the rail.
Currently printing a little tool holder that covers part of the opening on the dispy
2kg of filament and the glass bed came today! Printer comes tomorrow!
Did a tool holder. Longest print yet
(+ little aperture science cosmetic fan cover for the hot end fan)
And got my filament guide on.
Nice, those all available on thingverse?
Some special settings for getting smooth outer wall. Fresh video
Everything I’ve printed so far is
So far I’ve printed a tiny fan duct upgrade (Need to sand it a little cause the .stl got messed up) the dog print,
And a mini finger snowboard and skateboard for a buddy…Any suggestions on what printable upgrades/thing I should print up next?
First thing I did was a fan cover and filament guides.
Alrighty I’ll do the filament guide. Do you have a link to the fan cover? The one I did was slightly off…
I had to slightly widen the holes on mine as well.
Few millimeters each side.
Think it was this one
Filament guide is unnecessary. The filament rubbed through mine after 30 or so prints. Just get a metal extruder and don’t worry about it. It aligns the filament for you already.
The stock plastic extruder where the filament feeds in even started rubbing through.
Get a metal dual gear extruder and never look back.
Mine will supposedly be here next week
I’ll be getting to work soon!
I stumbled upon this kit online and decided to buy it. I wanted to just recreate the plate in fusion, but the creators deserve a purchase. They have files for adaptors to nearly every hot and and extruder combo and a HE+part cooling setup as well.

I’ve seen a few direct drive conversions that you can print.
Thoughts on that?
My first Elvis bust with 200mm height took freaking 76:30 hours. What do you do now?
