Yes because it cant fail and connect your VESC without precharge in any way, but I think you will want a longer and thinner piece of wire than this because there is still occasionally an audible pop.

I thought so… it should fit the matrix 3 and apex airs and as far as I know, luna 350s are the same.
depending on how big the discrepancy is you could give it the good 'ol heat/freezing treatment.

Sanding the hanger can get pretty ugly… i would consider filing out the clamp before the hanger.
Be sure to do your best to take equal amounts off each side to keep the clamp as central as possible

@Dnollie this is a physics lesson for you. Cold makes things shrink and heat makes things expand. Can make a few thousands of an inch difference

Upload the video itself to here, instead of asking Meta to display it the way you want it displayed. mp4 files drop right in. That also means it won’t disappear later when/if Meta decides to make it disappear.

I’m visualizing a high-amp 12S setup using 4X 6S Lipo batteries there’s are some aspects I’m not sure of in term of optimal safety/charging/longetivity:
My sense is it’s better to do the series connections before the parallel, so I can lock down the 12S packs - is that right? If there’s no difference I’d go with this too since I already have the parts on hand to make the 13 pin balance leads coming out of both series packs, so I’d only want to change up if it’s worse.
And then for the (charge-only) BMS/balance I’m wondering about using one BMS with the balance leads in parallel to the two series packs vs. would having 2 BMS, one for each series pack / set of balance leads be better? In this case they’re the little Daly 20A dumb BMS
