Now it’s done, plugging the BMS in will not be easy, not sure if it will be even possible, the wiring and tape around the pack added to way more thickness than I imagined

Also there isn’t much room for the fuse

For me the worst moment is plugging the battery in for the first time, glad it worked and that @SimosMCmuffin loves an RGB show

Just the BMS mains connected I have a 3.4 mA current draw

Everything plugged in, no fires, managed to plug the balance connector, just waiting for the loop key to cool down to test

Everything working, almost, I haven’t been able to connect to the FlexiBMS from Metr

So, I talked with @rpasichnyk and it’s not possible to have FlexiBMS working with the OG Metr

Will have to get it when this whole mess ends, hopefully, even if they were shipping, our economy is getting destroyed so much that buying with the current exchange rate plus taxes is sheer madness

And as you can clearly see I forgot to put heat shrink before soldering the wires, and white duct tape is all I had on hand

And need to change these motors bearings for sure

It was a good journey until here, lot of work involved, I always say that, but next build will be simpler

Awesome that it works, and maybe check the location settings in the metr app maybe showing the location when uploading the log isnt enabled

It is probably because I had set a minimum GPS precision, and these days GPS reception was really bad

Getting the hang of it, awesome to ride on the dirt, at the end I was flying through the trails and not giving a damn about roots, holes and all that What impressed me most was on sand pockets, just take it slow, trigger fully pressed, keep the balance and let traction control do the work. I have one of these that I got in a local car audio shop

To be fair I have to open the board and check if in the end I’ve installed it or not, I really can’t remember
