Wire channel routed, started with a Dremel, moved on to a column router and finished free hand on the Dremel due to clearance near the read, the plan is to pour clear epoxy, and if it turns out nicely I may leave a window on the grip tape to show the wiring

Instead of doing a epoxy pour, just superglued the wires to it and will do a few layers of varnish, looks great and way less messy

External wiring finished, made a custom cover for the GX12 on the VESC enclosure so I don’t step on it. Now waiting for the silicone between P packs to dry

The dumbfuck here forgot to add two nuts to space the data connector and now one of the VESCs doesn’t fit, and it’s epoxied in place real good, a round of applause please

If wasn’t for that it would be almost done

At least conformal coating the rest went well, apart from it almost ruining the USB port

Whoops that sucks… so what is your plan now?

Dremel to the rescue, it was easier than I imagined, I started to cut it in pieces and heat enough to soften the epoxy, it popped right out

Glad it went well :call_me_hand:

Good rescue. I hate that panic moment of realisation. Especially when epoxy is involved

All well with the connector, apart from forgetting to glue it on the right orientation, but good at the end

Now VESC glued to the enclosure, battery one side left to weld, and when you don’t have flat wire, you make your own

Hate when this happens, forgot that the TB motor have a 10 mm axle, luckily last week I received a carbide cutter for my Dremel, on aluminum it cut like butter, should also make a quick job here

The carbide bit also cut fiber glass really well

Did you use the Dremel carbide circular disc?

No, this one

Wow and that cuts an axle? You did it by hand? Or did you have a vice for the Dremel?

Free hand for the win, first a rough cut, and them smoothed everything, for it to cut you have to put a bit of force, so you go really easy to have a nice finish

I love that bit! It’s such a nice precise micro mill bit

Took a few hours on a rampage to finish the electronics case, all done expect plugging Metr that is in another board

And also I’m open to suggestion were to put the antenna, there isn’t a place far from metal anywhere, maybe tucked on the side of the right vesc is the best
