weird that in the last week I was thinking about designing something letting you mount a large kart type flat wheel to apex air base for the rear only… I guess on the front too why not. hmm really want to try riding that!

Guess non electric some exist forsure. Determined to disprove that claim possibly but two wheel skateboard with front and rear steering does seem to be not tried out. I did find this which makes me think that I could make the suspension caster and put it on a board like this with rear suspension, that would then qualify it for this thread. still looking for more 2 wheel skateboard and pondering if Freeskates count for board status.

I like the look of the “skate”, those wide wheels look like theyd grip really well.
For all terrain having wheels that small and wide seems like a great hindrance unless on nice trails maybe. It does have a cool look. Reminds me to keep thinking about making a 6wd off road monster with shifting gearboxes or something.
Oh yeah, i would 100% call it a street only board, but it looks really fun.

Does anyone know what size / specs / where to get the shocks / dampers used on these boards? Are these basically 1/5 rc shocks or something different?

Checkout the hunter boards thread on here. I have one ordered which should be here next month! They’re super responsive to questions so don’t hesitate to ask them! Ha I’ve asked about everything from batteries, suspension, fenders, bindings, all-terrain tires, etc… But they’re big thing with their suspension is that it bumps don’t affect the steering.
Oh and I my ordered ecomobl m24 pro should be in tomorrow, so it should be fun choosing which one to keep!

these are the smallest ones I found intended for not RC cars. I think there are some gnarly RC car ones out there somewhere but I bet they cost a bit more.
110mm is still a tiny bit more than I was looking for so I moved to other ideas.
dun be surprised if you look inside those shocks and find no hydraulic damping mechanism
