It fits me great, maybe there are a few unnecessary details that make printing more complicated, like lines around the entire perimeter to keep the controller from slipping in your hand. I designed it in Fusion, so if you want to edit anything else, I can send a 3fd or step file

there is a charging port on the index finger side and a space below for inserting the controller. I also added the f3d file, so you can try to design something. I really like the 3ds company, so they have their own fancy fingertip and here is this fingerless one.

It’s nice to see that I made someone happy on the other side of the world..@Daada thank you for providing your native files. I’ve been working on making a 2-piece finger groove cover derived from your original file. Have done a handful of iterations and a good amount of my own ergonomic changes along the way but getting pretty close to having it fully ready. Will post the files when I’m all done with it.
(Don’t mind the rushed print quality)

Going to make a couple more small tweaks but this one feels good in my hand. I opened up the holes so there’s less chance of print fuckery happening. I’ve been having better results printing in a more wasteful method of having the outside facing up and using supports on the whole underside…. Trying to print a large fillet right off the bed with the outside of the case on the bed always results in a crappy fillet print finish and just doesn’t come out as nice looking. I modeled this one using hardware I got my McMaster-Carr (part # 96817A323).

I’d say you could print this and cutout what’s needed for the regular vx4 buttons. That’s what I did from the vx4 case going to pro version.

My newer one with the triangle UFO-shaped cutout might work with the regular VX4 buttons as well, with just some extra exposed

Oooh I want to print one of these, is it like 2 pieces that clip together? I’m trying to understand how the remote goes in it.
