Flipsky davega module and other davega options

Couldn’t find any information about this on the forum and was wondering if anyone had actually used it and how they set it up

Also @janpom does I have anything to do with you or is it just a rip-off
(I love the davega and would love to get one from you just a bit out my price range)

Also what other davega options are there

Thanks in advance everyone

Here’s what janpom had to say about it

If size isn’t a problem and quality also then should it work fine

Dig there.

(Save up for a davega X, absolutely worth it)

When is low quality not a problem on electric skateboards?

Not only that but the CS from flipsky is apparently non-existent.

Compare that to Janpom and his efforts… Certainly makes the davega worth it.

And you could assemble it yourself. (you land on 99 ballons  )

As in doesn’t he main a low quality screen like all fuzzy and pixelated

Still quite a bit of money more looking to spend 50 balloons on it

Edit: I hate auto correct

I don’t think you’d get software upgrades either.

What other davega options are there for the cheapskates in the community

The other forum is currently down so I can’t read what @janpom was saying about using a arduino module

My advice to you is, that you save up for a nice Davega X.
You won’t regret it. Trust me.

There’s the original Davega and the DaVegaX. The DeVega is open sourced but the DaVegaX is custom. I think Jan might only be doing updates to DaVegaX which you have to buy. He is in the middle of exploring a cheaper option which includes shipping just the components and having final assembly done yourself.

I could be wrong though…

Yes, that’s correct. I’m considering 89 EUR for semi-assembled kit. Easy DIY to complete it. 84 EUR if you pay by SEPA. This will be only for the next 35 pieces, most of which are already booked.

The price will unfortunately likely go up for the EU folks afterwards since there will be 21% VAT.
