They make monitors with the open source davega firmware. Unfortunately the screen they use is rather low quality and they haven’t put much effort into the housing either. It’s a lot bigger than it needs be. The housings designed by community members are much better but the flipsky monitor doesn’t fit into those because again they made it bigger than needed.
As I told Mike, for anyone who wants to stay on low budget, I would recommend using the open source davega with Arduino Nano and modify some of the housings to fit. There’s fewer features than on the davega X but it still gets the job one if you just want a simple odometer.
