I ordered one and it’s still sitting waiting to be installed on my new build.
I believe they already have the had the DaveGA on there site not that long ago
They make monitors with the open source davega firmware. Unfortunately the screen they use is rather low quality and they haven’t put much effort into the housing either. It’s a lot bigger than it needs be. The housings designed by community members are much better but the flipsky monitor doesn’t fit into those because again they made it bigger than needed.
As I told Mike, for anyone who wants to stay on low budget, I would recommend using the open source davega with Arduino Nano and modify some of the housings to fit. There’s fewer features than on the davega X but it still gets the job one if you just want a simple odometer.
As if that excuse would ever work
“sorry officer, I don’t have a speedometer. I thought I was going 25…”
“Get a DaVegaX” as he hands you a ticket
Now if he gave you a fix-it ticket instead of a regular one, THAT would be fucking hilarious!!!
Hi Jan, I would like to do that, but the old forum is down again. Might you want to migrate your valuable information to here?
Will do as soon as it’s up again. I hope it’s not down for good. I may not have a backup.
Once Jason has stolen his wifes jewellery it will be back up.
Doesn’t he just go and stand on a corner in Fortitude Valley once a month?
I feel foolish… Is it
Dave-ga?
Da-vega?
Or something else?
Does the name mean anything?
Did Dave make a Guage?

It was a peer decision reached by vote I’ll have you know.
You suggested it tho right?
Yes. I also represented all of the votes
The communications port on the right, beside the internal BT module
If you order one for VESC4/Unity, you get a 7P connector and there’s only one port it fits.
I’m on the waiting list
