Well then it’s amazing!
Pretty straightforward
Same for me.![]()
Okay, the posting situation is as following.
@mackann 's parcel is out of the country.
@hexakopter @glyphiks & @Pedrodemio 's Parcels are waiting in the local pick-up point for the postal services and I have given all of them their tracking codes & links.
I will now post for the rest of the testers the shipping options and prices.
I will then probably start making a tutorial for the serial terminal interface on the BMS and how to configure the BMS through that. + make a breakdown and explanation for the parameters and what they do.
Awesome its super compact! would definitely pick it up if it works
Yeah, once you guys get this to work correctly, it will be a game changer. That’s for sure. If the price can be around 50 EUR, I see no reason for anyone to use anything else.
I’ll try to get the first draft of the serial terminal configuration guide up today, so you can start testing the board.
Here’s the first draft version for the serial terminal interface guide.
Thoughts and feedback are welcome.
Yep why iv been watching it sins it started on the other forum. Been able to stop the discharge through can means I think it way better than a charge only BMS as well almost need a new name as me for its own category IMO
Hey, got a quick look at the configuratio guide. Good job!
One thing I couldn’t really find is if there is the option to balance only when charging or all the time. Is that a possibility?
Currently balancing is only done during charging, but making it enabled all-time with a configurable value wouldn’t be a big code change.
Great detailed description
The description for parameter 4 o 8 looks as if they have a copy paste error, it’s for max values but the description says it won’t charge if under these voltages.
Fixed.
For me personally it does. No idea if I’m the only one
I linked a baked .PDF format from the Google Word doc originally, which of course doesn’t update live as it is edited, but I changed the google drive link to now go to the actual Google Word document, so changes should now show up as they are done.
Any idea when these will be accessible for us regular folk?
@SimosMCmuffin I’ve wrote you a pm.
Once I have gotten some feedback from the tester group about the BMS, whether it be positive or negative, there might be the need for more hardware iterating, but I just need to first get the boards to all the testers and start to get some thoughts from them.
Once things start to look to be in working order then I can reasonably start looking to go high volume, but I need to get to that stage first. How long will it take? I don’t know, as long as it needs for a quality product.
EDIT:
Also @ducktaperules & @Friskies check your PMs for the payment information. You’re the last two who haven’t paid yet, so your boards are still waiting on my work table, if you want to cancel your boards, I’m cool with that also, as there are other people contacting me on the forums wanting to get some boards for testing.
I have shipped 7/10 of the tester boards, with @annihil8ted 's packet ready packed.
Hey do you have more info on your audio projects? very interested
