It does not really need a heatsink but a case or some coating is a good idea to protect the electronics.
Ordered 1
Ordered 2 pcs

Filled out the form when it was posted. Are you meant to get an email straight away? Or at a later date?
Since it’s Google forms, he must reply manually, so don’t expect an email straight away.
Ok no worries, in no rush
Just wasn’t sure if I’d entered in my email address correctly or not!
Form has now been closed.
There was a total of 40 boards requested, but as there was only 25 available I’ll start allocating them based on the order of the submissions and start making and sending out the invoices.
Once the invoices are paid, I’ll pack and ship your orders.
Thank you so much @SimosMCmuffin for your amazing work!
Do you have a paypal donation link?
I’d give you all my money right now just to help out with the whole testing and development process
Youre doing something right if you can get 40 orders (out of 25) in under 24hrs.
I could enable the tip feature on your invoice

First wave of invoices have been sent out.
@SimosMCmuffin, can you please reduce my order to 1qty each. I ordered 2 sets of same parts. Sorry for the extra work.
I would like that one
I paid super fast! I am looking forward to the day when I touch FLEX BMS with this hand!

Wow temp probs we’re gone within minutes of form going live
Well I mean, I wasn’t even originally planning on offering them, because I only had the set of 10 that I had bought a long time ago for testing, but I figured “let’s see if they sell” and added them and the JST-RCY connectors as a pack.
If you wanna source your own, these are the ones I bought:
Whatever, i didn’t want one anyways.

Back down the rabbit hole of trying to understanding NTC spec again
From what I think I worked out so fare
Resistance: NTC 10k @ 25C
Material constant B: 3380K (changing temp vs resistance correlation)
Temperature co-efficient of Resistance: 1% (Accuracy)
Thermal dissipation: ??mW (power)
iv seen ones as low as 3.5mW and others up to 50mW not sure what the right one is iv tried to have a good dig through the info on the github and linked Ali express page.
Is there any other part of the spec of a NTC iv missed that I should be looking at?
Generally power dissipation figures are not really restrictive if the NTC is only used to measure temperatures, as they really aren’t dissipating a lot of power in that use case.
What you really want to look at are the three parameters you mentioned above.
Then of course there are other things you also want to pay attention to like what kind of package is the NTC made out of? (0402, 0603 SMT packages, through hole, through hole but immersed in epoxy, through immersed in an epoxy in a metal shell…) So that it suits your use case. Might have to handle being immersed in water or oil for example, maybe corrosive liquids etc…
EDIT: Also, Paypal locked my account down, due to increased money movement, so I’ll try to get it sorted ASAP. People who had paid already are okay and I’ll get the items packed and shipped. I’ll email the tracking code to the form emails.
Thanks seems I gone to fare down the rabbit hole. The 2 I was mainly looking at was glass and thro hole epoxy tho I was unaware of the mettle case I just presumed it was dipped.
