Everything is configurable. It’s pretty much everything you’d ever want in a BMS. I think one of the handy features is the discharge to storage after xxx hours of charging.

Thanks was looking in the wrong place

Got some 100kOhm @ 25deg from DieBieMS seems I need 10k ones @SimosMCmuffin is this some thing you might consider selling from your shop?

Any one know if it’s possible to get a header in this space for a NTC temp sencer?

@SimosMCmuffin, just to confirm, when the unit is plugged into USB (only), are there supposed to be any lights?

No, the status LED gets powered from the battery pack by the buck regulator. USB only powers up the MCU, if no battery pack is connected.

Okay, I thought about trying to make a cool looking countdown timer for the buy form opening, but that turned out to be a pain in the ass so you’ll just get this then.

So the form link will be posted in about ~27 hours from the time of posting this.

I had ordered some of these 10kOhm bead NTC probes from aliexpress long time ago for testing and I can put the option to buy some in the form (only have 9 un-used)

The NTC connection is in a pretty problematic spot for a proper Through-hole connector, as if it’s vertical it’s easily very tall, horizontal one is always pointing in an awkward direction, so I figured that the most slim option was to solder wires direct to the BMS and then use a wire-to-wire connector to connect the NTC (assuming you want to easily disconnect/reconnect it). In the image below the wire-to-wire connector is a JST-RCY connector that is common on the smaller RC hobby Lipos and I have available housings and crimps for them.

(Note. BMS in the pic is an older 0.2 HW board)

Working on an Enclosure for these guys, peace of mind for insulation :stuck_out_tongue:

What i learned from flipshit ESCs is that small gauge wires directly soldered on PCBs are the first thing to get ripped away and fail you if something ever get to move in your enclosure
A 90° JST is more satisfying in my point of view
(But, it’s certainly not the more complicated thing to change)
