Hello forum members,

I live in Turkey. This is the first time I’m gonna collect electric skateboards. I can only use Banggood, please don’t accept ads.Two feet and I weigh 110 pounds. I’m doing a skateboard on public transport to carry with me.

Is there something missing or wrong?

Why only banggood?

  • I’d use some better wheels, big difference in ride quality.
  • I’d swap the trucks and mounts.

I can’t tell from the description but looks like you’re missing

  • Battery
  • Pulleys
  • Belts

Edit: Sorry. Misread your motors as 6374.

The last item listed includes belt and pulleys.

But the wheels for sure and trucks depending on config.

Do you have links to these parts?

For a commuter board, I have a lot of suggestions. First, don’t use a longboard. use a short board with a tail, and make it a single large motor (6374 or bigger, 6380 is better)

Did you look at this?

This motor mount is crap

I would not use that, or any mount with a round hole for the truck hanger.

The truck hanger :arrow_forward: motor mount interface needs to be not-round.

I used that mount on my very first build. Ended up tearing up the hanger so I had to throw it out

Not useable for esk8. Your original motors are good. I made a mistake when reading your post, so the length of your trucks might work, but as b264 says, both the mount and truck hanger profile are problematic.
