My original budget was about 1500-1800 when I first joined the forum but then I discovered all the great shit you guys make. Then I had to get Tim to skin my board. Long story short, I’m way over budget.

I’m glad I read the “so you wanna build an esk8” post that set me straight from the beginning. DIY is NOT cheaper but obviously you get more bang for your buck and that sense of accomplishment when you build something yourself.

You might have the single nicest deck I’ve ever seen, so no sympathy for you.

You can ask my girlfriend. When I get into a hobby I GET INTO a hobby. I was already a skater but now I’m a skater with money. Shit is seriously hazardous to my bank account. Tim is a master craftsman. My design would never have been so beautifully realized without his magnificent hands. Lucky wife

Yes, and it’s like seeing a beautiful girl who then turns around and she has an equally beautiful face on the other side of her head.

Wait, that’s a horrifying analogy.

Where would the hair be? What kind of middle seam between faces are we talking here? Why am I suddenly kissing her while the other one sucks on my thumb?

I need help.

I’m high on life, Dareno. I’ve also been breathing 90% palm oil smoke for over a week now.

I thought Bill was just sitting in his apartment chugging on a palm oil bong. You have ruined that for me now. Who was I hurting?

I have to confess … when I got my a pass few years ago I saw myself in a reflection and felt my style of riding didn’t deserve THAT level of cool … I was a little too ‘semi-passenger’ for my liking back then , I can still remember my first few Bajaboard rides where i had to resist the temptation to jump off when I went above run speeds lol

…recently lots of little things have started just clicking… so i finally upgraded

Had a cell in a lipo come free that I had already “fixed” (at least) two times before, was DOA should have returned… third (or fourth) time’s the charm? Pulled on the connection after soldering this time and it seems good, but time will tell. Used aluminum flux and solder as with other times, guess worst case have a couple backup batteries and one on the way.

I don’t like soldering; there I said it.

I have another board all ready to go except I need to solder some connectors on the motors and redo one phase wire connection. Yet I haven’t done it yet because doing these tiny connectors gives me cancer.
