I accidentally accelerated too hard once. My index finger loves to twitch (hard) sometimes. I use a trigger remote. I fell on my backpack full of tools. I wore a fox titan pro back-protected jacket. Was fucking catching air for 30 minutes. Thought I was going to die right there.

I never went back. That’s also a road I rarely skate. For some reason I was expecting it to just fly off the roadway when I punched it but it felt like there was a sack of bricks in it. It may have had its corner wedged up against the curb. We will never know.

I kicked a traffic road cone, ONCE, when I was on a motorcycle… fucking things can be very heavy when traveling at speed!

I know, the fit initially seems kind janky, but I’ve been able to lever off some impressively tight hex screws with them without damage to either the Wera’s or the screws… if these fail me I’ll look into your suggestion!

The Wera ones work so well because they aren’t hexagons. If you’re comparing any hexagon wrench to them, you’re comparing apples to oranges. It’s the cross-sectional shape which helps get stuck bolts loose without stripping, because the surface area being torqued on is much higher.

I’ve been thinking about fixing that old skate but every time I wonder why I would spend time on it. The battery is shot and half the ESC is toasted.
I would have kept mine for a full upgrade if I had some sense. I loved the ride of it. Do a @longhairedboy evolve upgrade. Its still a great tune up platform
I think about that, but then I think (new cells, BMS, two ESCs, labor, supplies, shipping, my time) and I wonder why I would put over 1k into that board. And so each time, it continues to sit.

i’m a member of several evolve riders groups on facebook and every time i see somebody post a broken one, no matter the context, i make some comment about throwing the whole board away and buying a new custom from me.
