Sounds fine then. But over 100A cont. is marketing bullshit imo.

Well if I push within the marketing BS numbers and it can’t handle it, there are ways of getting compensation so I’m gonna try it anyway.

Fuck what a dumbass I was back then. Pretty sure I started wearing 2 gloves as soon as I got my BTR leather ones. Crazy what a proper fitting leather glove does. I also got hillbilly impact shorts that Christmas.

Gotta keep that perfect ass in tact.

Bigfoot is running 165A motor max on a Unity.

On the xenith I plan to give it 100A motor max per motor and 140A battery max, hopefully I’ll get enough punch from that without frying another PCB

Not cont. though

Not continuous — because applying that much motor current will quickly increase your speed into the zone where battery current begins limiting it.

what would be some balanced values for taking full advantage of 4p Lishen LR2170LA’s peak current capability of 180A (140A CDR) while also staying within reasonable limits of a xenith or a DV6 (non-pro) (whichever is more capable) while still having a high torque output? and not changing gear ratio

Capabilities are a limit to avoid, not aim for.
Operating anywhere near them guarantees really inefficient operation. Taking advantage of a 45A pulse limit means operating at perhaps 20A-25A. This is in contrast to other cells where taking advantage of their lower pulse limits would mean operating at around 10A-15A.

Those cells will be sagging at much over 20A each or so compared to P42A’s. You most likely don’t have the option to switch cells but you’ll be getting low voltage alerts/throttling at decently high charge percentage levels with (incredibly high) 45A/cell peak current levels.

Current levels that high also really force a lot of attention to be paid to the cell interconnects (nickel and the spot-welds), the series connections, the pack wiring, and the connectors. The power losses in all those things add up quick.

I mentally read everything that @Matte.Black84 ever says in rhys darby’s voice.

In a life or death situation, I’d save @xsynatic’s dog over all but 17 if you. And that’s a drunken estimate.

The real question is how many peoples’ boards would you save?

All of them. Parts are parts.

With the exception of some of the batteries.
I prefer my bombs not have a randomized timer.

In a life or death situation I would sacrifice myself to save maybe 5 people on this forum maybe 6

That’s just romanticism. It’s easier to sweep their leg than jump between them and a bullet.
It’s actually quite unlikely for any situation to arise where one could even make such a sacrifice. Mostly organ donation.
