I think some of that was marketing decisions. Its a segmented 12S5P P42A pack on a stormcore 60D+ but there was all this talk about what does that mean to people that aren’t in the DIY spec scene so some details didn’t make it in. Maybe some of that needs to be re-examined though. Fortunately the guts are freely available for viewing on our instagram.

IMO battery spec is pretty standard for non-DIY companies include these days. It is also a pretty key selling point to be using a quality VESC based controller, which outguns any hobbywing/lingyi, available from non-boutique brands.
Also, great work on the board. Looks gorgeous. I’m really into those silver maytechs on the silver BN. Looks super clean

Battery size is 100% necessary, I think the thing that is most commonly listed is the WH. So if you’re not going to list the exact config like most sites do, at least put that
Without that, you’re going to be inundated with emails asking that exact question. People will not look at the instagram for stuff like that. If you aren’t going to list the exact speed controller, it needs to say Vesc based, otherwise people have no idea there as well.
No one is going to preorder without those two specs, IMO

IMO that makes sense but you should also stick in something like a “For nerds” section (edit: that “more specs” section is perfect for this stuff) with those details, and like a one-line explanation of what the specs mean in case someone stumbles in not knowing enough. The battery example could just be
12s5p battery pack with Molicel P42A cells, these high performance choice give a lot of instant power for a given capacity. See Battery Mooch for more details. 907.2Wh gives typical riding range of X km, or use this calculator Y if you know how you usually ride.
I personally wouldn’t know to check your Instagram for build pictures because those are usually run by PR rather than tech people so it’s a coin toss if you’ll get any info at all

I’m curious, why did you opt for stock thanes? At least in my neck of the woods, pneumatics outnumber thane users probably 10-1.

Ahaha, my ankles were fine I was just making a bad joke. But I’ll agree with you that riding on pneumatics softens a lot of the instincts that skating for years instilled in me. You can get away with a lot of things on a pneumatic esk8 that I never would have done on my old cruiser.

There’s more grippy wheels I can easily slide onto those drives. Or I could cut rain grooves. Thane is the absolute least of my concerns when it comes to weatherproofing.

More details on the website would be great. Happy to be on this site to know how are the sub-suppliers, which make me appreciate the quality. I think it should be shared to add weight on the product. Shit about large market buyers or social media seams to me irrelevant. Most of the idiots-social-media-selffish-fools may not land on the website for now and I guess that most of the buyers will end to be over than average awared esk8 freaks/wankers/defiants (wich are thirsty of details).

Surprised about the VESC choosed. I understand the reliability, but is it short to max-out the motors?

Surprised about the 12S. Would be great to had an offer on 14 to 16. Understand that is limited by the VESC. Understand that offer range of VESC is limited. Stormcore was my 1st pick before last week (SKP went over).
-What would be the maximum capacity of the enclosure for a 2WD if the ESC is out of the enclosure?
Overall, it is exactly what Esk8 community need: quality oriented to market. Some of my money will end in this company anyways.

The battery isn’t large enough to warrant going high voltage. IMO the battery specs, ESC, and motors are paired together really well. For a urethane only board it’s borderline overkill
