Is it a FWD?? Love the Malta Cross in the tail
Yeah, thats FWD
cranked up the parameters and now one motor spins the false direction
open this shit up again
Power seems much better though…I adjusted the throttle curve and 10 amps more per motor.
What are your settings? It’s Meepo style hubs right?
These are my new settings and theres much more torque there. I have to find out for myself wats working best. I think I cranked up the brake amps a bit toooo much in combination with my throttle curve
Motor current can be way higher.
Raise motor current to 45A IMHO ; cap max battery current to your battery continuous max setup (which cells do you have) ; set regen lower to avoid flying tiger pose
Okey, first ill cut the regen, bc no fun doing the tiger pose
Trying out them original onan weaker samsung 22 p ones…so I can crank up to 40? 10s4p, 8,8Ah
Tried out the metr pro with metr app but nothing.
Could bind the phone with the module pin code but then its disconnected in the app
what @Vanarian said.
you could crank the motor amps as high as you want. Its the battery max amps that you need to worry about when considering your battery’s capacity and power level.
You can definitely get a lot more out of your hubs, set it to 55 or 60 motor amps and see what happens if 45 still isn’t enough. If they get too hot then you can turn it down a bit.
Thanks, that was my first intention not to raise big numbers, bc of heat.
Ill try out a bit.
After trying 25000 different ways to die on that BT shit IT finally connected through" the metr pro app, yelling firmware 2.18 is not supported at me 24000 times after hitting the update button 23000 times and waiting for NOTHING to happen in Manhatten. Not that bad at all, bc it connected somehow
Watch me fail :NINJA: :ZAUBERSTAB: :KILLER BOARD:
I wasted it
so skip that shit.
UPdate: Bc I know billions of you are waiting for my report while chewing fingernails and wondering what Im doing with all my spare time.
Im growing I can tell you
Made some mistakes in first settings,no problem bc with a littlebit help from my friends and trying out they leaded me towards my first success in building diy electric skateboards. ICH HABE FEUER GEMACHT
Billion thanks to every member in this great community for teaching all kind of stuff and sharing knowledge around the globe.
Im pretty happy to be part of that and when I one day win the lottery and can order parts like a madman you have to watch out, dooods
Greatest Thank you of all goes up to @Vanarian for becomming a big part in my life. Thank you for always being a nice guy and for breaking your head about every silly stupid thing which comes to my mind. I hope we will meet up somewhere in the future, my friend.
Billion thanks even goes out to @longhairedboy for being a big fan in the crowd of my billion followers (
) and for always being open minded and helpful as well, even when we are talking just mc donalds and starbucks sometimes. You really pop out of the crowd of hystersis looped teenagers
Not to forget @b264 Brian and @MysticalDork Ryan for always helping out everyone (not just myself) with a big source of knowledge and patience. You guys really taught me a lot and again thank you for that
Took me something round about 2 years! to build this board, from no electrical background and learning curve issues. I wanted to do it reliable and solid. Time will tell after some abuse if i reached that goal.
For now, I would bet I have!
We will see…
watch me fail, watch me grow.
@b264 LEADERS NEVER FOLLOW!
peace
just following my dreams.
Thats what she says now
My man I have no words! I’ll be there anytime you need it and really hope we get to meet IRL along the way!
Same here Christopher
Bla blupp, PIPAPO, yes,no when isnt the question anymore bc Im there for now.
Placeholder for glitter
Hello again, Im still alive, god bless.
Finished my 3rd test ride without any handy mandy app or papp la papp with my last settings and it feels pretty good to ride on lanes and in the streets,; side walks and little pops down or going up is a nightmare so NOT my kind of Deck, dooods
bc Im going up and down sidewalks and stairs all the time. Without that its almost kinda boring for me
I surly knew that before I bought this deck, but I wanted to try it, bc it rides really great, the shape is awesome, nice rocker, pretty solid stance and almost everything else on this beauty feels good except using the tail bc of its long WB.
I prefer riding my decks with tail and a WB between 50 and 60 NOT more.
This one has 70cm! The tail is useless bc of the weight of the board, while i can easily lift up more weight on my other boards. The Baffle 37 on my Barbie V2 mod for example is my favorite deck. I have two of them. Nevertheless…
Next deck choice: BAFFLE 37 again
Building the enclosure was a lots of fun even if its not finished yet and next step will be water resistance to the max. Level here is the ip rating of the wowgo 3 for the first goal, ip387374764746 maybe, dont know, not important just pretty water resistant
I have also to replace them mt60 connectors from the foc boxes i epoxied into the enclosure. Made a mistake there and it doesnt fit pretty good here
-no problem, watch me fail.
Here can you see what im talking about.
Because I broke a few motor trucks until now I want to prevent a motor short if it happens again. My thought on this was to epoxy /JB Weld) them connectors from the foc boxes into the enclosure that i can plug the motors in from the outside, so if a truck breaks again I m sure the motor will unplug itself and there is a chance for saving it from death. So did I but not that nice in case of fitting. Isnt important how it looks for me, there must be functionality.
…everything else is ok for my needs and wishes so I can continue cranking up my new lady.
I call her “Fancy Nancy”. Say “Hi” Nancy
