Did a harder treatment on my new beauty and everything went well, board feel good, tail not useless anymore, just some kind of annoying.
While checking out my board aftee the ride i recognized a small crack in rhe JB weld i applied into some small gaps between truck and motormount.

I have 3 ideas whats going on here.
First is I already bend the axle oder second it cracked bc of vibration and different material thickness or third I fucked up the mixery of the components.

Report back: :ninja:
ON my 4rth test ride a few minutes ago, with no issues or any problems on the hardware, I reached round about 35km range while going a standard bike lane and about 10 times the same small but steep hills up. My ride took 120 minutes almost non stop riding ( did a few stops for carefully checking out my board for sure).
Had a special eye on the cracked epoxy, but the crack is still same size like before and holds up, so nothing to worry about im sure. The trucks are tooooo weak anyways :ninja:
No rattles or noises of any kind from the innards so surgery can wait for now.
When opening up this beauty next time for getting it more water resistant I will solder the remote receiver bc dont trust any kind of plug in this case.
I glued and siliconed it together for now, it holds up great but soldered cables will let me sleep much better
Charging for now, Next round in a few minutes to start.
beware dooooods.
peace

You keep saying the ronin trucks are weak and bad but even cast ronin trucks are pretty high end downhill trucks. They should holdup providing you don’t weight 220lbs+.

NEVER EVER SAYED THAT!
I LOVE THEM CRONINS!

hahaha, no problem my friend. I havent found a solution to mount my cheap motors on them cronins and it just would work by welding the axle or something.
Im through with that. :see_no_evil: Will use LW hubs in the future anyways. :Ninja:
Billion thanks to keep an eye on my thread, bro. :hugs:
Read carefully and look at them pics  :hugs:

After 17 fully charged rides and round about 500km+ without any issues Im pretty happy with my new Lady. Seems to be a reliable new friend for me
The enclosure from GF holds up amazing. I treat that thing very hard going up and down the sidewalks, but just some scratches, no serious damage :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
The all over performance feels very good, even if it is on the weaker side of diy.
Anyways, Love you guys :kissing_heart: and billion thanks, too

…believe it or not, after the 18th ride Nancy got bitchy somehow
Stripped her down to the guts at home, checked all the plugs and stuff, but nothing so far. I realized that just 1 of the 2 battery packs in there was “used” on the last ride and the second in parallel pack was still fully charged. Could be bc they are two 10s2p packs with different charge circles ( I know, I know, its not recommended anyways so I will not cry if I kill my batteries somehow, bc the packs are worn out and almost dead anyways) so @b264 Brian, forgive me for being a mad ass  :hugs:
Rewind :arrow_left:
Every test ride went pretty well for my first diy and I am still happy with what I learned in here from ma dudes all around the globe.
Good thing about trouble making Nancy is,…
the makeover and changes I will try out now
bc I wasnt satisfied with the Anvil deck WB, which reduces my style of riding a fucking lot bc Im pretty much not as agile as I want to be.

Received my next 2 foc boxes last week, so that beauty will be 4WD next time. Also waiting for my second pair of LW hubs for ma gurl.

I shortened the WB on the Anvil and prepared for a new GF mold…
WB now

WB Original

Added a wedge for nice tail feeling

them LW hubs ( will mod them after testing)

After staring holes in the air for days, or letz say weeks, i finally managed to throw the GF onto the prepared piece I would like to call a murder lightning killer board one day.
Heres the process:

FG applied directly onto the duck taped mold :joy: Hope this piece will come off later on…looks goooooooooooood so far imo… :rainbow:

I did it on clear tape, came off very well so maybe you will take some tape with you, but i bet you can peel/ scrape it off.

Clear packaging tape releases very well.

Yeah, I had this clear tape at hand for the first try, but Im always greedy on things like that and use what I have at hand.
First I wanted to wrap the whole thing up into foil but that seemed like a tent and didnt wanted to shrink the way I wanted :joy:
…But you guys give me lots of hope for now, thanks :hugs:  :rainbow:
