I was thinking it got so cheap because they had bad qc or broke real easy. Might need to pick one up myself here if y’all like it so much. It’s no puck, but it is about 70$ cheaper 
Where do you live? Some people in bigger cities said they had signal interference issues. I’ve never had any hiccups.
They claim the v2 fixed this issue. Doesn’t matter tho cause I’m in the suburbs o chi

Yeah I wouldn’t risk V1 then. I ride downtown Cincinnati a lot but that’s certainly not chi town.

Went for a decently long ride with mine today but still convinced that the throttle is weird.
@dani what was the device in your video that you used to check the throttle curve map? Is it cheap? I wanna test mine.

I just measured the resistance while working the pot, simple DVM will do.
Maybe @Rob can chime in about the settings?

Check your throttle curve as well as the ‘input deadband’ tab in the vesc tool. Depends on your issue, but if have cutouts, mushy throttle, or strange inconsistent controls, just experiment with the settings in your ppm tab. A deadband increase would probably help with any signal peaks/spikes, as would a slight change from a strictly linear throttle pid setup. Also maybe check the ramping time… And maybe ‘recalibrate’ your range of the pot sensor while your at it… idk. I’m no tech wizard but that’s what worked for me.
I also noticed that if I push on the joystick, it won’t carry an outgoing signal, so if you are holding the controller wierd and pushing on your joystick, it may feel like the controller is cutting out when it’s really just a fault of the pots design. Just troubleshoot or give more info cause that’s all I got rn 
And are those deer real,? Seems weird they chillin so close and in such a big group

Haha yes, they are real. They must live in the city and are just used to seeing people. They clearly aren’t smart. Even my screaming 6375 motor running unsensored BLDC didn’t scare them away.

Hi, does chubby need some trimming because i cant get it to work, i have 60x version of the pot which i salvaged from old rc car remote
everything is wired correctly and the remote is paired to the receiver, but it doesent respond, as soon as i connect the remote the motor is like breaking
Possible to trim the remote on the enertion vesc tool?
