I find that to be the case with mine honestly yeah. The throttle is touchy because rocking it forward only 1/4 of the way gets me to full throttle

I even took a joystick out of a Nintendo Nunchuck controller.
This is the initial issue I came across. Holding it more like Dani’s first pic definitely helps, but reduces my fine motor skills with regards to the stick at least. It’s a great design and I think it will work well for most depending on grip preferences. I’m going to play with the design sometime. Little more of the pot towards user would be perfect IMO.

I think a small nub with some knurling/jimping might be better for your extended thumb control, the analog thumb flat seems like it might be better suited for the more claw-like grip you use on a gamepad.
Maybe try seeing how it feels if you just pop off the stick and just use the potentiometer post for control?
Did a quick test with the pot I have here.
There’s a small deadband at the travel ends, but it’s fairly linear in the middle.

It’s 0.2mm layer with brim option
Hmm… With 0.2mm cura did not load print a ton of holes and the battery holder bar (not the one that the board sits on)

I set up my chubby with a 502 45x potentiometer. I just found out I am meant to use a 502 60x potentiometer. What is the difference and can I still possibly use the 502 45x?
