Front 96/93/90/ 90 cone
Back 96/93/93/ 93 cone
Crappy flash may have changed colors :joy:

so I’ll email to cancel the order then, sorry I was sure you were waiting for a work day to help me out.

It slipped my mind when I ordered last night.

No need to cancel, I will just make the adjustments if you like, there is no difference in total price

oh whoops ok I’ll email tracy again real quick to tell her not to cancel.

order #19417 sounds gooood

OK, you listed them the reverse of me but I understand First thing to do is flip the cup washers on the front roadside cone or replace it with a flat washer

This is not a Evolve truck correct? The reason I ask is either the bushings you have are shorter than stock or you have the king pin nut severely over tightened or the bushing set is too soft for you.

No need, I will let her know

That’s not evolve indeed.
I may have over tightened them indeed but I fear wobbles :slightly_frowning_face:

Loosen up my friend and work up to the speed . Over tightening bushings make them very unresponsive and can be dangerous. Try the front cone trick and let me know how it works out, also back off the tightness of the rear Cone, it looks like the washer is in contact with the hanger

That seems unusually high duro for a DKP setup. What’s your weight?

Also, have you ever tried running it with just single kingpin in the rear? Riser to even height out w/front.

I’m 70kg
I thought about Rkp in the rear but I love my board like she is now

@RipTideSports I’m looking to switching to Evolves DKP trucks for my DIY build. The stock Evolve Bushings are WAY to Speed wobbled for me. I have Krank bushings in my Caliber Trucks 93a Duro that are perfect. What would be a bushing setup for the Evolve DKP Trucks?

I think I have posted this here before but it beats going through nearly 600 responses:

I have worked on several Evolve boards in the past when people have asked us for a nimble yet stable at high speed setup. This is what I found for Evolve “compound” trucks:

For simplicity, I will refer to the bushing positions from roadside to boardside so for the front, F1 is the bushing closest to the road in the front and F4 is the bushing closest to the deck in the front, rear will be the same just designated R1-R4. Also, the position 1-2 are the primary turning pair and position 3-4 are the secondary turning pair.

Front truck

F1: KranK 90a ShortStreetCone (.4" tall)

F2: KranK 90a Barrel (.6" tall)

F3: KranK 93a ShortStreetBarrel (.4" tall)

F4: KranK 93a Barrel (.6" tall)

Rear Truck

R1: KranK 93a ShortStreetCone (.4" tall)

R2: KranK 93a Barrel (.6" tall)

R3: KranK 93a ShortStreetBarrel (.4" tall)

R4: KranK 93a Barrel (.6" tall)

I weigh just about 200 lbs and this worked well for me as well as my son that weighs 140 lbs. We found the key to settling down the trucks for high speed situations is to keep the pair of bushings closest to the deck (F3-4 and R3-4) stiffer than the bushings closer to the road (F1-2 and R1-2) and the front easier to turn than the rear. The primary pair should initiate the turn, then the secondary pair should come into play when needed or wanted. I hope this is not too confusing as there is a lot going on with these trucks. The way we have it setup currently, you can run full speed all day and still have a lot of turn when needed, so agility and stability.

Thank You! I actually was searching for the post, and I gave up. Sorry.

DKP trucks certainly complicate things a bit so I am not sure why you are going that direction If you are using the 2020 versions, they are much stronger I am told

I liked the way they carved, and my current Caliber setup with motor mounts is to high off ground.

Ok, @Fosterqc, what I am looking at in the picture is a bit concerning. Please explain exactly what is going on and what vintage of the parts you are using including the base plate and hanger including the brands involved. Another useful measurement will be the length of king pin sticking out of the base plate. You may have covered some of this above but i am a bit pressed for time today.
