About two weeks ago, I had been in touch with him for awhile. Sounds like it’s been a huge pain with customs.
10/22 was when he mailed the parts to me
Oh damn… He stopped answering on WhatsApp. I guess I’ll have to email him.
Thanks!
Ironically he told me WhatsApp is better to use. All that said it sounded like he had a ton going on but good luck
Yo, this is like a brother to that anime board I made for my friend! Dope!
Too bad its been parted out and mostly sold already
So above I posted about my big gap, a 3MM gasket seemed to do it but I was not certain of it was enough still so I got one a bit bigger, 4.75 mm (Alan suggested 3 or 4 mm and 4.75 is what I found after the 3).
Now it seems I have plenty of room.
With the extra space I was thinking about putting the 3Mm gasket on top of the battery to assure an air gap, I noticed my kaly has Somthing like this. So do I stick with the 3MM or give it some breathing room and make sure the battery and board are not touching by putting the smaller gasket on top of the battery.
Sorry if these are silly questions first build jitters.
Thanks!
You certainly can put the extra gasket on if you want, but keep in mind that if there is an air gap between your board and your battery, and you fill it with gasket, then your gasket may be pressing down on your battery and balance wires.
So just watch out for pressure causing abrasion where you dont want it.
Good point! Maybe I’ll put a few small pieces in the center where it would most likely touch
Can you link to where you got those gaskets please?

Made it out of this
Hey guys, does anyone know if I could use the eboosted mkiii enclosure with caliber II trucks?
Or am I better off just getting the mkii enclosure?
I think any RKP trucks are going to be a bit of a challenge with the MK3. I have to trim my enclosure to fit haggy baseplates on the farthest out holes
Thank you, I think I am going to go with the mk2 enclosure and just use braided wire covers to attach the charger and on/off button. (very similar to what @eBoosted 's ebomber build)
I just wanted to take a second and complement Alan from eboards Peru. I had quite a few questions since this is my first build and he’s been very helpful in making sure I get this thing together correctly and safely. I think it times my questions were probably a bit outside the scope but he helped me get it all together. I hope to finalize things soon and put a picture of the build up
You probably won’t want to mount those trucks drop-through once you put the enclosure on, unless you want the ultimate low-rider
For reference, here it is drop-through with 90mm wheels
It would scrape the ground on turns.
Got any 110s on hand to check the clearance please?
In this very thread
Basically you need trucks with a longer wheel-base. Caliber baseplates are just too close, I don’t think even 270mm hangers would be enough.
Edit: oh, you probably meant enclosure ↔ ground clearance. Yeah, with 110mm wheels you’ll have an additional cm there which should be perfect.
It is not ideal but I will probably have to top mount if I stick with the plan of getting Loaded hubs to go with the Cags.
I have two sets of those Paris v3s in 43 and 50 degrees. May go split angle or I may swap on the 50 degree plates for that little bit of extra clearance.
Currently pushing the Sportster on the 43 degree plates in drop through and it handles like a dream. It is definitely going to be a challenge to minimize the size of the gasket needed. With no gasket, the clearance looks almost acceptable for the type of roads that I would run 85mm wheels on but I am not sure if it would scrape on hard turns. I think the Paris plates give you a little more ground clearance compared to Cal II baseplates.
What wheels did you wind up sticking with on your Sportser. I have a feeling that the 105mm hollow wheels could be pretty great fit once they finally become available.
