I have Paris 50° (top mounted) and 85mm wheels,
with the Boosted Mk2 enclosure there’s about 45mm from bottom of enclosure to floor clearance,
guestimate;
With 110mm wheels you’ll gain an extra 12.5mm clearance plus you should get at least another 15mm with DKPs so about 70mm ish clearance with your set up
thanks…that should be plenty of clearance. I plan on deck swapping with my Ownboard bamboo. With the Evolve 6" kit i have about 3"/76mm clearance. With the 110mm, I’m bottoming out on high bumps on the road. The OB deck does have a big dropdown.
Well I overlooked something. Bought the mk3 not thinking about the tkp trucks and how close the wire channels come
The MK3 will not fit TKP trucks, especially with adjustable baseplates
Looks like I’ll be doing some trimming unless I decide to sell and get an mk2
I’d just cut an inch off
Yeah but then you don’t have nice sides for wire grommets and stuff. I’m glad this was posted, would have made the same mistake myself.
Yea, I’ll cut a slot into it and keep it very close to the baseplate.
Need to find something to try to match the black
Thought I’d share this wheel-bite test info in the thread it belongs in:
After a year I still love this deck
It’s been one of my favorites
Also after one year of heavy riding and no bms my cell voltages are
3.81
3.96
3.96
3.96
3.96
3.93
3.96
3.96
3.94
3.96
Lovely build!
But bruh those V deltas are a bit too large for comfort.
Yeahhh they are
I’ll balance the cells then close it back up
Bro where is your BMS and all the wires gonna go!?
I’m ah pull a whitepony and not worry about it
12s3p stacked nickel, non-flex pack?
Bara has a 12S bms that would fit this, exact same scenario. Never got him to tell me which one it was tho.
How much wheel bite are you getting from that?
None, even at full lean. Does U-turns nicely in a single lane.
I have a Riptide fatcone boardside, street barrel roadside in the rear. And a barrel and street barrel in front. 93a/90a respectively.
The Kahuas are decently wide.
Of all the eskates I’ve tried, this is my favorite so far. Feels like home.
