The aluminum reinforcement chassis and the way the trucks got dropped through to reduce ride height is impressive work

They were awesome. I like the harder compound, really fun to slide around on. Unfortunately the ground clearance wasn’t quite enough for a lot of our spots so went back to 9”. I just threw some mudpluggers on so hopefully they’ll be the best of both worlds.

A new deck is already on the way. With luck I might have it finished before the BOTY deadline (doubt it), depends on when the deck gets here. But the plan is to get it done ASAP so I can get used to it before esk8con.

What is your plan for bindings?

At first I was planning to run Tomiboi straps on the rear with @AlexB extender. But @Pecos suggested doing an extended baseplate instead, this way I’d still be able to use MBS bindings. Something like this.

This way I’d still able to run the bindings where I want without drilling holes where the deck transition.

Yea it was more hidden on the forums :joy: and yea somehow it worked with using the deck as a mold to create a whole new one, concave and everything was dead on, I was surely impressed once I got it glued up and cut out. Definitely took the whole ‘DIY’ to a whole new level lol
