What are you using as your baseplates?

My adjustable baseplates, just the prototypes. The real deals are coming soon. Did several improvements today.

  1. Press-fit hardened steel stud instead of screw on bolt.
  2. Made nylon locknut hit the baseplate so adjusting the angle only takes 1 tool
  3. Adjusted pivot cup geometry
  4. Made angles 0, 15, 30, 40, 50.

Just bought my hangers. Went stealth instead of raw. Dunno why. Combo should look pretty dang cool.

Any barrel or cone will work. I personally run 2 barrels, 96a and 93a. When I sell the trucks, they will also include the same riptide barrel combo. Excellent stability but still carvable.

I assume the 96a would be boardside, 93a roadside? With a washer cup

I would assume so. Its a clone hanger after all. Don’t think he messed with bushing seat geometry.

Alright so I am planning to buy these tomorrow to skip the delivery window stated on the website.

Did you figure out what the best combo is for the riptide hardware? I will likely buy that at the same time.

Few other questions: Does this include a kingpin bolt? I saw it mentioned a few times throughout, and still am not sure if it comes with the bushings and pivot cup. You mentioned it would, but not sure since it doesn’t say it does on the web page.

To be clear I am talking about the bundle that you have listed for sale

As for the baseplates, should I go with 2x Randall ones or is there a better one to do? There is no way I am dropping the amount it takes to get the rey adjustable ones unfortunately haha

The hanger is just a hanger.
