Boardnamics M1 Gear Drive + Other News

These things make up for their ground clearance with their durability, even though relying on your gear drive doing a good job of slamming on the ground isn’t really a plan lmao

Seriously, they can take a beating that’s for sure…
I wonder how much clearance would be left with bash n splash guards and 100mm wheels

Not much, 12mm is my guess, I can measure later today

my M1s got very similar treatment

Slam these babies as hard as you can. Clearance be damned. They take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’!

I’ve had a few similar experiences on mine, and I run 105mm wheels. these things are made of pure solidium

any chance on selling housing separately in the future? maybe with different finishes? gloss black is nice and all but it would be cool to get raw or coloured. maybe even oilstain.

My large gearbox bearing sounds horrible, so I plan to clean it and re-lube her up. But I was wondering what should I use to lube it with? Or what do yall use? Speed cream… grease?

I used the same red tack grease I used on the gears but I have not run it hard enough to know if that was a bad idea.

The large bearing can have the seal taken off and put back on but the smaller one I would not bother it is $2 new, with prime on amazon.

White lithium grease seems to work fine, and I ride pretty aggressive

red n tacky works rather well

i use nust enough to coat the gears, since 95% of it gets flung off anyways

i would say even considering no lube cuase they don’t get that hot (for me) anyways :man_shrugging:
oh wait, the bearing :joy:

ya the red n tack is what i would use. i got some SHC-100 lube from mobile but imma try the red n tacky since that should work fine for bearings as well, just pack er in and give it a lil spin with the seals on to release some excess

Omg, that’s one of the highest wait times there! (average is probably around 15 days or so I think)

And the money they’re losing per day is more than $100k per ship. How the hell do you not just pay that amount of money to truck drivers to get the queue to decrease? Some serious negligence / shitty nash equilibrium is in play here…

i guess there isn’t enough truck driver to go around? and its already impossible to do overtime

With that amount of money nothing is impossible.

Pretty sure I read that they are just waiting.
