That’s an interesting configuration. How do they ride?
I don’t know. Haven’t had time to try them yet. The king pins on the waterborne rail adapter are crappy and loosely pressed into an oval hole, so I’m trying to fix that first since the king pins are not very stable.
If these work though, I guess I’ll call them Waterboardnamics trucks.
The CIA would like to know your location.
I bet they would.
Why don’t you make an all metric version of NKP trucks?
Because that would be a dick move unless some agreement is made
Yes, of course. I’m not suggesting he go make NKP’s without talking with Moe first. I think Kevin did a great job on his gear drives so I would imagine he would be able to refine the NKP and put his own spin on it…possibly make it all metric (which I don’t think moe is interested in).
I think Moe just doesn’t care. Moe is more “pure” motorsport than a lot of people here are comfortable with. The vibe I get on here and the one I also subscribe to is all about what’s “right” or could also be described as “idealistic”.
Moe doesn’t care, he wins races.
That being said; racing historically has been used to sell products. What wins on Sunday sells on Monday.
Maybe @Boardnamics can be the Monday to Moe’s Sunday?
That’s for them to decide.
I believe Moe used the money from 3links to develop more racing gear like his gears coming out… Plus you have to think about it racing wise. We want to be able to quick swap gears, hubs, even drivetrains if a problem happens. Everything with open gear drive is easily modular.
For a commuter on 3links a Boardnamics setup could be cool, but let’s not bug Kevin to much because he’s SUPER packed right now…
I don’t think this is the case; Moe kinda flipped when Rocket Boards talked about making them. I also suspect it’s what pushed Moe to actually sell them commercially, but IDK. So in a way, what Rocket Boards did was probably good if that’s the case.
I for sure think Kevin should be making a budget Hypertrucks challenger, before any other kind of truck.
Maybe use the bushings???
Extreme off road oriented would be ideal.
If we are all wishing
I wish he would have a 235-255 hanger with 10mm axles
For his 6384 motors 240-260 is bueno
That’s for the front hangers since they only run wheels.
Ahhhh, thanks, I guess I would have figured it out when I got to that step, thanks!!! And BTW everything is REALLY nice!!!
Curious, if i can to pay for a custom wheel pulley made for a wheel type that isnt supported could it done?
I would assume it’s expensive and require MOQ
question is how expensive tho
No MOQ but it would cost a lot more than the typical ones.
i dont mind
