Yup, when it comes time to remove these gears I’ll pick one up for sure.
It was a real pain trying to remove them, but once I heated it til it became discolored, the gears slid out no problem, guess that was too hot though since now I’ve got rainbow gears.
Maybe I put on too much Loctite?
Well damn, that’s handy. Thank you!!!
648 680 638, im so confused right now, they all look the same? what’s the difference
I cant remember who posted this but I took a screenshot of it for reference, looks like 680 is pretty damn strong.
locktite or hangloose, you must pick one.
but it looks it needs activator or something, i have 638, it seems to do the job fine
loose isn’t an option for me
i use 648 and can confirm it holds ontighter than a virgin
and i was able to remove it with my bb butane torch, or as 3ds likes to call it, a toy blowtorch
Hi @Boardnamics …hi Kevin, I’m a total noob collecting parts to put together my first DIY MBS board. I know you are probably flat out with new stock…but is there any chance of seeing how the new AT gear drives fit on the MBS hangers with the adaptors? Cheers
They haven’t actually arrived at his house yet as far as we know. Should be there in a few days though
oh heck, better get my wallet possibly ready for some BN AT gds

Currently waiting on pick up. Really hope by Friday I can get the goodies in
I’m so heckin’ excited to get my order.

Yes. $25 for a single set. 2 needed for a dual
Kevin, you need to charge more for your gear bro we all love the sick deals, but there wont be any sick deals if you die of starvation
I’m so glad I won’t have to worry about belt tension
I’m 86kg don’t worry
