Hmmm interesting. Gotta wonder what determined the tread pattern on your tires? Did you guys test multiple types?
If you plan to make new tire,160mm with offroad profile .
Do 9" tires take 200x50mm or 250x50mm tubes?
MBS uses 250x50 tubes
Crad, k.
Problem?
Yep wrong size sent.
Oh damn that blows
I wonder if I can just pump these up in there to make it work in the meantime.
I think you run a risk of just blowing out the tube
Nice! Where did you get this info from? My tubes weren’t marked and their site just labels them as 2.50 x 4 which is diameter. I’ve between trying to figure this out for certain.
I mean they have 8" tubes and 9" tubes…and the wheels are the same width, so I am making an educated guess that they use 9x2 tubes
I was just discussing in another thread. The fivestar hub is the only mbs hub that can hold the 9" tire. It’s got a wider outer lip (42.7mm) that the bigger tire beads on.
I’m gonna go blow up some raw 8 and 9" tubes and see
8" is 45mm wide.
9" is 50mm wide.
I think they’re 250 x 50 as well, not 250 x 75.
They both look goofy when pumped a bit without tire.
Why do your tube look like it has a hernia
Fill yours up without the tire and it’ll do the same quickly. The tire wall holds the tube in shape way more than I thought. Makes me clean the inside of my tires to make sure there’s no debris.
Update: MBS is badass, replacements already on the way. Small mixup aparantly
