Best pneumatic tires?

6x2. Even then, you will need to be creative with centering them.

Thick wide rubber bands work well for centering 6x2’s

What would you guys go for 9" wise? MBS 9" T2, Primo Striker 9", or 9" Trampa Mudpluggers? Something else?

I am looking for something that will go faster and more stable on grass… and also have relatively good durability riding a 50/50 mix of on/off road, and I don’t care so much if on-road performance takes a small hit for better off-road performance, grip off-road has never been an issue to warrant mudplugger tread but if mudpluggers are comfortable and soft riding wheels extra grip wouldn’t hurt. I am leaning towards MBS 9" since they look softer, probably less durable and long lasting than mudpluggers though? Haven’t really considered primo strikers, they look like they wouldn’t last too long but might be comfortable in grass… dunno… thoughts?

Also, all these 9" would be compatible with the same hubs (like MBS Five-star hubs) right?

Also, I’m not sure how much fatter 9" tires will balloon out to, these are my 8inch, will 9inch on fivestars be too fat for these eco drives?

@Venom121212 @rich @Riako … pinging some (I think big pnuemy riders)

They won’t be much fatter really on the fivestars. The double walled lip makes them pretty similar in fact.

I haven’t tried the promos or trampas so I can’t give a review of those but I like the T2s a lot. They’re not too hard or too soft and I don’t mind riding them on road one bit. I just swapped to some roadies and honestly prefer the turning return feel of an offroad tire to a roadie for some reason. Probably just gotten comfortable with them. I can take some pics of 8 and 9" tires pumped up on fivestars tomorrow if @ryend doesn’t come in and dick wag first.

Thanks man, I guess I’ll just go with the T2 as planned then… good to know that info on the width and ride quality👌 and they are cheaper.

It’s on alibaba sunmate store, you need to chat them, because it’s not on their selling picture. They prefer we buy the set include the hub for 18$/pc, but you can try to ask for the tire&tube only.

does it fit mbs/evolve hubs?

I haven’t test it but from the hub that they use is similar to trampa superstar.

I have a set of these tires, hubs and pulleys coming from Sunmate Alibaba. Just arrived in my country but not delivered yet. Think they make the hubs for Trampa (or they are clones). With these tires etc. will post pics when they arrive if u want.

There’s a us based store called electricscooterparts.com
That sell 9" Roadies I use on my 5stars. 3/4 centered fine. One needed some of the sidewall cut to make it over the lip on the hub. So far really happy with them

The products don’t have individual pages but it’s this tire. Also ordered tubes. 2.80/2.50-4

Did need spacers and then this was final clearance. You get used to the little bit of noise the finger thingies make haha

Man this tire is amazing… trampa copy x torqueboard copy combo

I’m pretty sure it’s the same manufacturer making the tires for both lol. Pretty sure Haggies new tires will be from the same factory as well.
