depends on if ur laptop charger can output a lower voltage, some can’t do that. most modern laptop charger i saw from apple / asus / samsung can auto output 5v, but u should check the prints on the charger, it should say what range or set voltage it can do
Trying to connect a Metr Pro Can. The connection circled in red is only 3 pins - ground, canh and canl. Metr needs 5volts also. Can I pick up the 5 volts from this PWM connection then just connect my puck remote to the left side PWM connection? Thanks, don’t want to fry it.
I’ve done similar fuckery before and its been fine. Not in this particular esc though.
I have no idea if it makes any sort of difference or not, but i’d be inclined to take the 5v and the GND from the PWM port and just the canh/canl from the CAN port
