This is what I’m thinking, it doesn’t seem like they’d be interfering with anything if they weren’t clipped but that’s definitely the kinda thing that I could eyeball wrong.
It seems like I have space but it’s within 0.5mm, I clipped off another ~1mm and they seem to fit with a bit more peace of mind for me
For example I have a portable battery with an AC output, the AC plug would keep stutting off abruptly. After opening the case up I found out there was a heatsink on a MOSFET that was flexing into the live and neutral prongs of the AC outlet. A bit of insulator solved my issue there.
Should I replace the bearing on the stator with a 2rs (rubber shielded instead of metal shielded) that should be more waterproof but has at least a little more friction?
It makes sense that they use ZZ bearings, as that part of the motor is spinning really fast and as long as you don’t get salt in it, ZZ should be perfectly fine with the water.
