Those are the only things I can think of that could go wrong.
Personally I’m using a DC-DC converter that outputs to two 5v usb ports for my future lights. Once I find some that won’t get destroyed in a month of use. Also that way I can charge my remote if that is ever needed.
One of the p packs starts creeping the delta from 20 mV to 90 mV when riding from full to lowish, BMS is balancing it back but I’m concerned about this since it wasn’t doing it before. Whats the max delta acceptable for a li ion pack?
How many cycles on the pack? Does it charge more quickly than your other groups as well? If so, likely a broken weld and in need of service. Acceptable delta is a matter of opinion but as soon as you get to 0.1V delta that’s when I’d start to be concerned. In any case, if this just suddenly started happening out of nowhere, the group needs to be examined.
Cycle it a few more times and keep an eye on it. Either a bad cell or a broken weld would behave very much in the same way with the former being potentially quite dangerous. More often then not, it’s a broken weld. Are you positive the group is charging at the same rate as the other groups? It would be strange for it to have a uniform charge cycle but not a uniform discharge cycle. Can u post some screenshots of your cell voltages at the end of discharge, during charge and at full?
If you can get the tire off the hub would it be possible to grad the screws with a needle nose vice grip? Would have to crank down on the vice grip though
A wiring harness came with crimped ferrules on one of the connections for screw terminals, I want to use it with a JST header and avoid cutting and recrimping if possible. Is there something appropriate to use as a female for a ferrule connector to make an adapter? I could use an uncrimped ferrule (still round and bigger so the crimped one should hopefully fit) and then hot glue and/or tape to hold them together but that sounds very wonky
My wheel won’t come off my axle. The nut that was supposed to hold it down has been screwed off but the wheel just won’t come off even with quite some force. Never had this happen to me. I know I hit a small curb at maybe 25 km/h which might be the reason it’s stuck. How do I get the wheel off?
Also, any tips on how to screw in a stubborn axle?
