Who’s taking the extra 100 from ya?
I am assuming you got a fat ass order of 600…

Oh and good enough timing for your PCB kits!

It’s all coming together nicely :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Screw you guys, these are for my own dangerous plans.

I dont think they’re well suited for anything less than 8p anyway.

This would be good for like a Electric Chopper.

Shame it isn’t 22S for the 100VESC but the cells in these packs can be separated in twos I think so it could be taken down to 22S prob.

FOund a couple videos on youtube of people reviewing these cells from bigbattery.com and I noticed a slight discrepancy. Screen Shot 2020-08-09 at 11.34.52 AM

If you rate it 4800mah = 17.28Wh

If you rate it 5000mah = 18Wh

18.5Wh = 5138mAh??

I guess I’m wondering, are these companies making their own estimates for these cells and printing their own different wraps for them? Or what’s happening here?

I would imagine it’s just different tests at different loads maybe?

or just bad info… I think we will have to do our own testing.

I feel like I want to see the voltage sag on only a 12S4P. This is the only way to get actual high loads on them. I bet they work great in 12S6P+

@Fosterqc What do you think will work better, a 12s5p or 10s6p?

so how does this work out? you would see less voltage sag on a higher p-count battery? How does that work?

yeah I can only draw like… 120A peak so that would be 30A/cell at 4P

In a 6P that would be an even more chill 20A 8P even better etc

so wait, you draw less amp/cell the larger your p-groups are? Sorry I’m just now learning this lol

yeah pretty much, it gets hard to tell with the peak/cont current ratings of things in your system.

Just know that all the current passes in the series connections when designing your pgroups/layout and you want all the series connections to be identical.

dont do many amps but what you think if doing maybe 6 in parallel?

i never liked the idea of these thinking they were the opposite of conductive and a waste of energy. and cant the molten nickel dribble in and short the cell?

wow what a deal!
