Bafang 350W 26in hubs from Jag35 / Battery Clearing House

those are adc and will work with vesc

Just to overly clarify, you mean the ebike throttles are mostly adc or uart, not ppm?

yes ebike throttles are mostly adc

@Venom121212 Almost all ebike throttles will work the vesc. They use a Hall effect sensor wired to the vesc 5v or 3v, GND, and ADC1 pin and it essentially just act as a potentiometer input. (Your movement controls the position of a magnet in relation to the sensor). If there’s a 4th wire it might be for a built in switch or something else.

Ok that’s more what I’m used to from random scooter escs. Thanks again.

I’m like a baby bird here

I wired up an ADC throttle for my Scooter Ressurection, wiring should be similar if using another vesc based controller.

One huge benefit of the vesc is I can use pretty much any battery I want. Got the lady on it for a easy cruise? 6s battery, done. Want to try something stupid on a scooter that’s 3-4 times faster than the mfg intended? drop that 12s in there and ZOOOM… endless possibilities

can you hook up hall sensors and use them for things besides inputs? I need a ā€œdrift power modeā€ activated by a hall sensor

@Fosterqc I don’t think anything like that is currently implemented in the code. But I’m sure it could be modified to allow it. I think right now there are only settings to use ADC1 as throttle ADC2 as brake, and also a setting to use one of the ADC’s as a switch for cruise control.

What i do for power modes is have an android phone mounted to my bike and then just make different profiles within the vesc app. That way is really easy to swap to street legal mode if I’m ever being pulled over.

This is basically what I need… Maybe I will try it out.

It’s for the leiftech, one of the slip rings has a hall sensor and magnets. So when you go into a slide and need high currents/want to keep speed for stability it’s hard to manage with a remote so if the VESC did it for me that might be cool. Leiftech seemed to think it was useful. I would add it to both slip rings if I wanted too.

Hey, is anyone still waiting for their 4 hubs to ship? Going on a month now and mines still waiting to ship…

EDIT: just got off the phone with them. They should ship out this week, they were just waiting on their cardboard box supplier.

Yup, same boat. Seems like disassembly took longer than originally planned, and then they’ve had issues w/ finding an appropriate way to ship them (prob related to materials and cost). I’d expect another update from him soon.

Also waiting for the 4 wheel set, but the periodic update emails I’ve recieved from BCH have kept my alarm bells from going off. Still good to hear that we’re all in the same boat and should be getting shipment notifications soon now that they’ve gotten proper boxes to ship them.

still waiting too, not worried though, bch always ships or refunds if something crazy happens

Received mine ok, in 2 installments…
Motor hubs arrived on their own, I emailed Guy to ask where the geared wheels were and heard nothing back, then received a new tracking number to my mobile and the wheels showed up a few days later. :+1:

Out of curiosity what was your order number? I’m curious if they’re going in order and how far down the line I may be.
Thanks
