@Sn4Pz
You could go xlr if you take the right one.
http://www.switchcraft.com/Documents/switchcraft_sealed_xlr_npb_604.pdf
It has a vrms of 125
I personally just went xt90 with 10 awg cus I like going overkill
I canât go xt90 as thatâs going to be my loopkey, and barrel connectors wonât be able to handle 8a+
Not exactly sure how vrms works⌠Iâll keep searching
Go xt90 for loopkey and xt60 for charging? They even have a mountable version
12s6p 30q pack. 4a charger in the mail. Might want another one for on the go. What is the biggest i can go in amps to charge it faster without ruining my pack?
Technically you can charge at 2 C, or 24A with that pack, but I wouldnât go that high unless absolutely necessary. 12A would be okay
Isnât it rated at 1.33c?
Probably? I mean it wonât instantly explode at 2c but it will definitely take a toll on cycles before itâs âdeadâ
It also depends what your BMS has for a max charge current. Itâs likely less than 24A
Well it states itâs a 12s 60a bms? I have the smart bms
60A is probably the discharge rating. Whatâs the charge rating?
This is an old one identical to it (new one is at my battery builders house)
Iâll try to research that info
Itâs either 15A, 20A, 30A, or 40A. Unless you have the D version.
If you have the 60A discharge one it looks like it MIGHT be 40A charge. But their spec sheet doesnât make a lot of sense.
So basically as long as itâs not the 15a one Iâm fine?
I donât understand the question.
TypoâŚ15a****
or BMS?
Iâd say probably 10A or 12A
@b264 Good to know. If I were to change the bms, could I up that number significantly or itâs not worth it?
For example Iâd like to find an 18a charger. That would make it charge in an hour
Is there a battery 101 sticky post? Also a VESC post?
