In addition to my stock mini, @Linny hooked me up with a large shell Avio mod remote.
I worry more that I wonât adapt to having two different input fingers, and one of the reasons Iâm starting to favour triggers is my thumb gets a bit sore in longer outings. So probably not going to try.
correct, the mini is single triggerâŚprevious remote was the Evovle R2. using the mini until I can find a split that works very well. I hear the Maytech has connection issuesâŚ
correctâŚbut the Evovle R2 is split âŚusing the mini until i can find a really good split thatâll work with Unity. I hear the Maytech has connection issues. is this still true?
i think thatâs been solved with the v2 (according to maytech)
@Venom121212 does the brake override the acceleration?
What i really dislike is the missing chargeport. Yes itâs waterproof/resistant but then i have to carry a Powerbank + a wireless charger.
i assume no cruise control?
Brake overrides acceleration always.
My phone can actually act as a wireless charger which is pretty cool but I definitely understand the desire for a port. The battery life on it is solid. I have to charge it every 15 rides or so, standard ride is averaging 40 minutes.
No cruise control but it feels so good ergonomically that I donât mind holding the trigger. It feels natural, like peeing outside.
My average rides (with my vesc based board) are usually 2-3 hours per ride
tough call honestlyâŚargh.
false - its much improved but I still got cut outs with their new receiver
I was very butthurt about it so I made a thread:
Yeah I donât commute. My only really lengthy rides are group rides with the boostey woosteys
oh yeah i have wireless power share on my phone as wellâŚstarted a new build today, Iâm sorta interested in the Maytech again. The OSRR looks good but i donât think they are doing a split trigger.
thatâs the thread Iâm talking aboutâŚso are you still having problems with it?
I stopped using it entirely. I only us a Nano on all my boards now.
Ran fine on mine until something maybe happened with the canbus connection.
a split trigger OSRR would be siiiick.
thank you sir
Im not personally building a split-trigger remote at this time, but OSRR hardware has 2 analog input ports for joysticks so it could be done. Just not high on my priority list- Trigger style will come before that.
