Archived: the OG noob question thread! 😀

@esk8manbabes I tried checking the wires they are fine and all in the right positions

I tried changing between slave and master vesc but that did not help the vesc tool still did not recognise a canbus connection

I am going to change and go down the split ppm route but thanks for your help everybody

You’ve made Brian a happy man.

I try

I would just use two receivers, but even Split PWM (“PPM”) I would use over CANBUS though it’s marginal. I like when the only connection between the two is the battery.

I learned it as PPM and thats why i still use it.

How would you link multiple receivers to a single mini remote

simply bind 2 receivers to the same remote

Is at actually possible

Never seen that do you have to bind both at once or one after the other

how long should a battery sit and can i discharge with out hooking the balance plug into the balance charger/dis-charge?.

Not sure if this is a “true” noob question but -
What’s the general opinion on the Flipsky dual 6.6 plus?

Do I need vesc4 or vesc6 for the vx2 pro to be compatible with the unity?

Gotcha thanks for the help

What do you think is better multiple receivers or split ppm

You’ve been around too long to ask Brian this question. Come on, man! :grinning:

I’m not allowed to answer that question.

However, indisputable facts are that my last dual build had 2 receivers in it.

I can’t discuss why, or which I think is better.

I will take your word for it

I am waiting to receive some connectors for split ppm and for single

Once I receive I will see which works better and base it all on that

I already have two receivers and bind plugs so good there
