Aluminium board and carbonfibre enclosure

This is great, your diy spirit is strong. If it works most of the time (that’s the criteria here) and you love it then you’ve succeeded.

Let’s get a bigger shot of that bell shaped head, mesmerising stuff

What chop-shop mud wheel covers are those? No offense but they are kind of an eyesore…

those fenders look better than my pants do after a ride in wet dirt

Pshhhhhh sure, yeah, but I mean who rides with a street board in the wet mud? But he could print some off, or get someone else to print a pair for him on the forum. Also, did he do a burnout on epoxy?

ugly fenders or getting wet enough one could think I had just had a bath? I designed em myself because of space constraints so I can’t attach them the “traditional” way on the trucks.

Also I ride this board every day through rain, snow and mud. This is not a board that’s babied

You can design something to look good and be functional. They just look like extra plastic chunks from the can that have been epoxied together. I didn’t expect those wheels to get through much, so I assumed it to be a road board.

You are free too do that for me. Personally I’m not very good in cad software so I dunno how to make a typical fender shape. But please tell me if you want to help and I can send you the dimensions

I think what’s shameless is shaming someone for a DIY they’re proud of. Just because you’re not a fan of it’s aesthetics doesn’t mean he needs to care.

Hey @wasp maybe i can help you with some nice fenders if i find the time, also functionality over esthetics. Id rather ride a good ugly board than a nice unreliable one.

Bruh. I’m not shaming him, he’s just spend all this time on an awesome board and then the fenders looked so out of place. In the original picture It looked as if they where originally pieces of plastic from something such as a Tupperware, than has been ruthlessly cut down and glued together as a sad excuse for a mud guard. Didn’t realize the ones he had where already printed off. I said shamelessness because he then asked for me to essentially contract myself into making/designing one for him if I care so much, of which I thought was pretty funny…
