Its not expensive when considering the quality and use. There is no price increase, the remote is $99, the RX is additional.

I hope the quality is there, but only time will tell. What do you mean by use? Can you use it without the receiver? I (like many others, I’m sure) clicked on this thread expecting to pay $99 for a usable remote.

I mean the usage of the remote, the experience when compared to other remotes.
I am sure a lot of people expect that when they purchase a remote, but that is not the method being used now, more than one manufacturer have separated the RX and the remote. I assume so you can by multiple receivers and a single remote to use across multiple boards. Its what Trumpa did with the Wand.
