I was always annoyed by April fools day, it ranks up there with how I feel when someone reminds me of tax day or when a cop tells me my drivers license is expired.
The most grievous Calendar based humor derives from leap year jokes and riddles about how you are 9 years old but really 36.
What an unfortunate day to post updates in more than 8 months. Jesus, humans were conceived and birthed in that amount of time.
Print quality is bad and I should feel bad. (I’m new to superslicer)
-the data on the balance charger screens above doesn’t really tell me much about the packs ultimate performance other than they came from the factory balanced and are all similar in age.
To keep me out of rabbit holes, the next substantive updates here will be plates, clamp, and crossbrace on a truck with motors, pulleys, belts, and cam rollers (idler)
You can get a text/design cut directly into the aluminum. The minimum order is 1 at sendcutsend, I have done some plates from there before. You can PM the dimensions of mounts, I can help out with the design.
@Titoxd1000 the only critical dimensions for the pulley belts and motors to easily work are
-the two center to center absolute distances in mm from a 30mm motor mount to truck center.
-the angle between all three centers.
I haven’t put in the idler pulley yet. I’m going to figure that out IRL with the 3d prints. I might use two.
I’m totally open to anything or features anyone suggests. Gotta stick to 2D.
I picked 7000 series aluminum. 6000 and the 5052 will work too.
Titanium for plates is viable from a thermal properties perspective. Aluminum is good for 2wd drive bc they can get hot and the motor mounts transfer some heat away.
4 6389s rarely get hot. 8 won’t be an issue for a less thermally conductive material.
