6 gauge is pretty thick, had a hard time soldering 8awg without melting my connector, even 100w iron took some time to get the solder flowing

I did not burn my stator coils with that fiery double motor test. the driving Unity ESC is acting funny, but the motors test out okay with this style test
I am pretty certain it was a ground insulation short from only 2 of the 8 motor set screw involved during that test.
I couldn’t get the entire motor mount face off to see all of the coils in the danger zone near the 2 longer set screw, ill look with a borescope and macro lens tomorrow.
I’m tempted to drip an electrically inert product down there with a syringe to patch up the motor winding enamel I know I disrupted.
