Just a reminder that Loctite 290 can be applied AFTER assembly. It’s insanely useful. Just the tiniest bit, way less than a drop. You can “wet” a toothpick with the tip of the nozzle, stick the toothpick in the crack between the bolt and part, then put the tiniest bit of Loctite 290 on the toothpick, and it will run down the toothpick, into the crack, and into the bolt threads. Of an already-assembled part.

Never underestimate how runny Loctite really is. Some kinds of it just wick into microscopic gaps like there’s no tomorrow.

Was a pretty windy day, but here is a video of finality drives in action. The really high pitched sound you hear is from the motor, when that sounds is not there, you can’t even hear these drives!

Since it’s HyperTrucks, it’s definitely a Finality setup.

It is Finality 103mm gear drive, 6.5"-8" rims on Lacroix HyperTrucks. Custom anodized colors (blue for the gear drives and silver for the rims).

How do barrels compare to something like mbs bushings or hyper truck bushings for just flat out speed?
Say high speed was my ONLY concern on this build… how would barrels compare

Depends on what you consider high speed. I ride at 50km/h (31mph) with the barrels.
