I’m hitting 41/43 mph now and have a goal of 50mph this year. Do you think they would do well at those speeds?

What trucks are you currently on and what are you using for data logging?

I’m using matrix plates with 3DS fatboy hangers. Red bushings. I use the yours truly app here and there other than that a local radar

@3DServisas
i have some of your gear drives on bioboards motors
between the motor and the gear pinion there is a small metal plate (pictured below)
is that removable if i shorten the motor shaft? or is it important to leave it there?

thanks a lot

k thanks a lot

i would like to flip me motors to face rear but the ends of the bioboards motors would hit the kingpin at a turn
is there anyway to do this?
are there any longer hangers i could use? (im currently on 270/275 i think)

You would need smaller motors

anything else? are luna trucks the same style mounting? or maybe apex airs on a longboard…

Not sure about that bro. Why not keep them inward?

Lunas should be able to do 63100s reverse I believe but they have a different profile than the 3d longboat trucks

my motors hit the enclosure if im not on really hard bushings
the only ways to stop is by either putting on 1 inch risers
or getting longboard extenders (ruins the look of the build)
or reverse mounting

Ahh yeah, ahrav had to cut a chuck out of his enclosure to make it work

ah maybe that would work

how did he do it? how much enclosure can you remove before creating a hole

As much as needs to be removed, if you create a hole, cover it up with something

ah ok thanks will ask eboosted how thick his enclosures are

dont wanna make holes but if necessary to cover maybe i will

BioBoards puts risers between the baseplate and the deck to avoid the scraping.

This is how they look:

These are 18mm thick.

You could ask @3DServisas to see if he has any for sale.

If you don’t want to raise your board then you could try the enclosure mod. Personally I ride with 6396 front mount. It’s fine with a hummie deck. Max lean does touch the enclosure sometimes but I don’t care at all. :man_shrugging:
