3d printing requests,

Here’s the one I converted. Slightly smoother curves than the other one, but the file size is like 4x larger lol
Body1.stl (4.2 MB)

I can do it in white or black PETG unless you want @MysticalDork to do it

Honestly, I’ll take you both on your offers.
And go for white, I’ll see it better if a crack happens

started a print at 0.2 mm, 3 walls, triangles infill at 30% also have 50% and 70%. fully randomized the seam so there shouldn’t be a weaker point idrk how I’ll test it but yeah I’ll figure it out

Turns out my printer don’t like your widener :joy:  had some extrusion problems so restarted the print and now it doesn’t heat up above 220-230 C so error screen ffs. I’ll see if 220 can work even with 230-250C print temp recommended by the filament manufacturer…

What’s up with the printer? It’s not allowing it or it’s not heating?

heating up but takes a bit more time than usual and wont go above 230 might have shot the heating element.

You could always have one of us slice it with your settings

This nozzle is for the more coarse/extreme filiments like carbon or glass filled.

Well that will be possible when the hard drive has a graphics card to help it boot up. But at that point… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I mean, if you have a phone and know your printer settings like nozzle size, filiment type etc, we could slice the stl and then send the gcode to your phone in which you can use a ota usb to transfer to the printer… just saying haha. Always a way

Not in a rush. Also there’s quite alot of rubbish on top of my printer bed since I haven’t used in a bit 🤦

Fwiw, I’ve been printing a shit ton of the glow filaments and haven’t noticed it damage any nozzles yet. Going on 2 years and 6 printers. I think the abrasive warning on those is meh. They probably make the ruby nozzles too

They just might be :joy:

In any case, the fancy nozzle stays clean (nothing sticks to it) all day everyday so I’m still happy I got it
