I don’t know what y’all are talking about. All I see is a terribly designed hook that is both sad, yet cute looking, and could never hold a helmet. Is this some kind of flaccid joke?

I’m laughing now. 
The design looks way better upside down and on a hot bed. I see how it could work now. 
I assume you use nipple head screws to mount it through the two holes? Also, this would make a very ergonomic grab handle for your board.
