I don’t actually provide grubs, or mention them in install guides as loctite 648+keyway has never failed me
That’s what I thought… Haha. Thought I was going crazy losing it.
But have some 648 coming tomorrow so I should be set.
Forgive me if I’ve missed it somewhere… but what is the axle size?
12mm
axles are removable and I would look into making 10mm axles for fun
And are the axles removable? Say if somebody wanted to run 10mm axles?
Beat me with your ninja edit
what is the hanger length?
320 ish iirc
Correct
Might be asking a bit much. But your trucks, flux deck and enclosure, 8” wheels: how’s the ground clearance, more or less than matrix 2’s for example?
That is exactly what I was looking for, thanks! Super excited to see these coming together.
Genius
Do you know what they use to manufacture the hex hole? I would guess EDM
Not sure, I made these axles in the UK and didn’t bother to ask
what will be the impact of a 15° truck on a deck like the flux ?
Ive been riding the trucks on a Bro deck which has 30 degree tips just like the Flux deck. So I’d expect the trucks to perform in a similar fashion
I’ll definitely be testing these on my bro deck, but how is the feel on a mountainboard compared to matrix 2s? That’s what I’ve always run. Only problem I’ve had with them is the turning at lower speeds.
Ahah great but what is the performance then
More turny ? more stable ?
same as really wide 45 degree calibers?
Turning feels effortless for everyday pavement/street riding and still stable enough for casual mountainboarding. As for super high speed riding I cannot speak from experience, my board is geared to top out at 35mph.
I made these trucks so I didn’t have to deal with the kingpin design on channel trucks and limited bushing options. The RKPs riding better than the Matrix 2s is just the icing on the cake for me, personally.
I’ve tried this bushing setup for higher speed riding and mountainboarding:
Rear Truck - BS 93a chubby / RS 93a barrel on the rear truck
Front Truck - BS 90a chubby / RS 90a barrel on the front truck
I achieve tight turns, way easier than the MBS M2s - less full body lean required… Feels like I can take this board anywhere and feel confident in doing so.
I recently switched to this bushing setup:
Rear Truck - BS 93a chubby / RS 93a barrel on the rear truck
Front Truck - BS 90a fatcone / RS 90a barrel on the front truck
Its pretty fun and carvy. Haven’t gone past 30mph with this bushing setup as the streets are wet and I just rebuilt the board after a couple weeks of not riding.
